Robert D. Whitman serves as Chief Financial Officer of Global Oilfield Systems, with responsibility for capital structure, financial planning, treasury, risk management, and the commercial terms behind every major contract the company executes.

Robert joined G.O.S in 2014 and has since strengthened the balance sheet through two commodity downturns without a single involuntary crew reduction, a result he considers the most important line item of his tenure. He built the rolling capital plan that funds fleet renewal, welding equipment, and the automation stack out of operating cash flow rather than short-cycle debt.

He leads contract commercial review alongside operations, ensuring that scope, liability, and mobilization terms are priced honestly and that the company never signs work it cannot deliver safely. He also oversees the group's insurance program and its counterparty risk framework for international projects.

Before joining the company he spent eighteen years in energy finance, including senior roles in upstream corporate development and reserve-based lending. That experience makes him a close partner to clients' own finance teams on long-duration integrated contracts.

Robert is a CPA and CFA charterholder. He built the internal reporting system that gives every base manager visibility into job-level margin, utilization, and cost variance in near real time.

He is the executive sponsor of the company's procurement transparency policy and chairs the internal capital committee.
